Exploration Assignment!
The first spot that I chose to go to was Chakryn Forest. It sounded like a nice place that I could go to to relax for a while. The landscape was beautiful. Everything was green and growing spectacularly. I loved this place from the moment that I teleported into it. The environment is very relaxing and this will be a place I will return to for alone time or just to relax in Second Life.A featured location that I decided to visit was the Rutgers football stadium. I am a very big football fan and love everything about it.
This is why I decided to visit the stadium. The stadium is built just like it really is, which I find to be very awesome. Unfortunately there was nobody else here when I visited, but I expect it to be packed full for any football games.Another place I decided to visit was the Apocalypse. This area looked very rundown and destroyed. Th
ere were a few other people here who seemed very strange. They got mad at me for talking not in IMs and said they would ban me from here if I continued to talk. Other than these strange people this place was sort of interesting. It seems to me that this place was made to show what the world would look like if something drastic would happen. At first I could not find anything special to do here, but then Dooley and I found a small park that we chose to take our snapshot in.The first challenge of Info Island was locating where Dooley was. After we found each other we decided to check some things out. The first place we found was the Placement Office. There was information about education and finding different jobs. There was no other people here when we were visiting. The next place we visited was the Stonewall Learning Center. It seemed to be about gay and lesbian rights. There were a poster that had words such as "daughters, sons, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers," this is saying that gays and lesbians are just the same as everyone else. If only everyone could come to Second Life and realize this, there would be much less controversy and fighting in the world. The next place we visited was called the Holodeck. It seemed to give information about Second Life. It explains how to use slide shows and other educational features. The last place on Info Island that we visited was the Jazz Cat. It is a place to go to listen to Jazz music and dance. This would be a cool place to go on a Second Life "date". The last thing we did was meet one of the librarians here on Info Island. We talked for a while about Second Life and shared some of the places we had visited. All of these places were very informative and I was glad to have v

isited all of them.

Let me introduce my Second self!!
My avatar in Second Life sort of resembles myself, but not fully. Body size and such things aren’t quite accurate, but the way my avatar dresses, is just like me. The first thing I see is a Yankees flat hat on backwards. I love hats, whether it is my Mizzou hat or a Broncos hat or the Yankees hat my avatar wears, I just love to wear hats. Next is the Invader Zim t-shirt that I am wearing. Along with a t-shirt, wearing jeans is just like me in real life. I also have acquired a pair of cool shoes to wear. My avatar has short brown hair and blue eyes, just like myself. I am taller and skinnier as my avatar than in real life, this is because this is what I would like to look like.
My first impression when I saw my avatar was bland. I had looked just like every other male avatar that was in our class. I immediately had to change myself to look different from everyone else. I chose to change my avatar to semi resemble my real self. As I have described, the personality and clothes of my avatar are like me, but the physical aspects aren’t so true.
I always log in with the same appearance as this is me, but sometimes I like to change my clothes to change things up. I like to switch between a t-shirt and jeans to maybe a suit or a sweat suit.
I have spent $1 on clothes for my avatar. I was in a free clothes shop which also had some hats and shoes that had to be paid for. I asked around and a nice lady gave me $1 so that I could buy my Yankees hat and my shoes. I was very happy that she gave me this money so that my avatar could be complete.
I am very happy with the way that my avatar looks. It resembles me but also resembles what I am training for my body to look like. This gives me some motivation to keep working out and achieve my results from running and lifting.
I did not ask anyone else for input on my avatar design as I like to do things on my own. Although, I have asked people to criticize the way my avatar looks compared to me in real life, and most people have liked it a lot.
The only change that I have been unable to make is with my hair. I can’t quite get it perfect to the way I like. Other than that, everything has gone good creating my personal avatar!

Introduction
Hello,
My name is Alex Auer. I am in my third year here at UCM and I have enjoyed every bit of it. My major is Criminal Justice and I plan to attend law school at Mizzou after I graduate from Central. I am part of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity here on campus and I love it.
I am also from Columbia and I work at Hyvee there every weekend. When I am at home I live with my dad, step mom, brother, step brother, step sister, her boyfriend, and my little sister. Things can be a little hectic at our house.
Sports are one of my favorite things. I love watching sports. Football is my sport. I love sundays in the fall. The Denver Broncos are my favorite team followed by the Philadelphia Eagles. I also enjoy going to the gym to workout. I don't really like to run but I do it anyway as I am trying to get into better shape.
I personally don't like to write that much, but I think if I give myself time to write, I can do a pretty good job at it. If you want to know anything else about me, don't hesitate to ask.
